While at Camp Green Lake, Lewis received the nickname Barfbag after vomiting on his bunk - the stain seen on the bunk Caveman (Stanley Yelnats IV) was issued.
One day, while digging his hole, Barfbag decided to get a rattlesnake to bite him so he could get out of Camp Green Lake.
After Camp Green Lake[]
Barfbag was sent to a hospital to be treated for his bite and never returned to Camp Green Lake. Stanley Yelnats IV replaced him. What happened to Barfbag after that is he ran away from the hospital and recovered, but it is unknown how he escaped from the hospital. In Stanley Yelnats' Guide to Surviving, it is hinted that Barfbag survived Camp Green Lake.
